Decided to try something different. This is a pencil drawing I've been working on for the last week. I may do a separate digital painting of this by using the same sketch next.

Thanks. I got interested in tutorials for colourizing black and white photos, and decided to do it with a pencil drawing instead.

I have to confess I frequently do it too-but with already colourful photos of my paintings.I have original next to my PC and fixing colours or some colourful areas on in photo.It's iritating but I learned a lot during it.

Some people prefer drawings and even photos to be in black and white. I have a cousin who wanted me to do a portrait of her son specifically in black and white once, and she prefers a lot of her photos that way.

Yes,some ppl prefers this.

I like black and white photos as an watcher but I'm not making them cause I'm more interested in to colours as an artist. They are also good as references because you can see shadowes and differences between tones better than in colourfull photos.But you have to come up with your own colours:)
