I created a set of analogue desktop clock themes, starting with Star Wars ones. However, the initial designs didn’t cut the mustard, so I scrapped them and will go back to the drawing board with them another time.
So for now I focused on a set of 2 Garfield clocks, an old school Amiga desktop clock, a Bubble Bobble clock as well as a minimalistic Windows 8 clock (not pictured here).
Firstly, this theme pack is not compatible with Vista’s / Windows 7 default desktop “sidebar” clock. I originally intended for them to be, but as it turns out, they are extremely hard to get to install without overwriting existing themes, as well as other issues, and I don’t want to work that way.
Instead, someone pointed me to a third party desktop clock widget called “ClocX”, which is for most versions of Windows, old and new. It is not much different to the default desktop clock, actually it’s better, as it is a lot more customisable.
Before doing anything, get and install ClocX from here:www.clocx.net/
Then unzip my theme pack to:
I will be converting this theme pack for Linux Cairo soon.
